My country buggy.

I’ve never own a VW, but was very impress with Beetle. They look impressive especially after make over. With the shining bumper and gleaming paint, they look lot better than a modern sedan.

Few month back I had the opportunity that I simply cannot pass, to own a classic Volkswagen. Not a beetle but “Volkswagen County Buggy”. A very rare Volkswagen model. Currently only handful of Country Buggy is estimated in service. I’m must be a lucky one.

Unfortunately there are lot of work that need to be done. As what you should expect from an old car. See photo below.

Engine is running ok, but for "bug" free reason the engine went through an overhaul. Just to make sure all at top condition.

I’ve done an engine overhaul by my trusted Volkswagen specialist. Currently the car is undergoing a major surgery. I’m sending the car for body and paint work. I expecting spending some big expenses for this work. I’m not a machanic. Don’t want to damage this rare classic. So be sure to check back in few month time. Hopefully I’ve updated this page with my “new” Volkswagen County Buggy.
