2004 Beetle Convertible. This is a very nice little Beetle. Drives smooth....everything is in working order. Top is power and works fine. Transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes stops straight. Interior is clean and no signs of previous smoker. Exterior is clean and paint shines nice. Drives nice and straight down the road.... tight and smooth. The Air condition is freezing cold.... Sharp looking. Fly down to south Florida and drive her home anywhere.

The History of Volkswagen

Volkswagen is a German auto maker that is very well known to many people throughout the world. One of the vehicles that helped make them a household name is the Beetle. It may not come as a surprise to many that the Volkswagen got started in part by Adolf Hitler. Though he did not drive, he asked Ferdinand Porsche to create a vehicle that would be suitable for the regular everyday working man. Porsche agreed to do it and within a few years the Volkswagen Beetle made its debut.

A new factory was built for Volkswagen soon after in 1938.

Top Volkswagen Executives On Trial

The trial of former Volkswagen human resources executive Peter Hartz has ended on Friday, January 26. And the verdict? Hartz received a two-year suspended sentence and a fine. The bribery and corruption case of Peter Hartz was feasted on by journalists and camera teams with matching angry protesters outside the courthouse in the town of Braunschweig.
